A wooden shield with white metal banner: Royal Oak Challenge Shield. Bears seven metal metal mini shields around what appears to be a pewter centre-shield with coloured enamel mini dartboard. Only one of the mini shields has been used – reads: E. Warren – Winner, 1952-53 (it would appear that Mr Warren took it home and never brought it back). Unsure which pub it comes from. The shield has not been cleaned since approx. 1953, so some polishing wouldn't go amiss. There are ten small holes to the bottom of the wooden shield, probably from someone throwing darts at it. Reverse has string for wall-hanging.
